2010 Home Nations 'Plus' to be hosted by Lisnagarvey Hockey Club.

Lisnagarvey is one of Irelands best known and premier hockey clubs with facilities that rival no other club in Ireland.  The current clubhouse and pitches were opened in late 2005.  The club has a proud history boasting Irish, British, and Olympic players in its long list of famous names.  Lisnagarvey are looking forward to hosting what will be a premier event in the 2010 Irish and UK hockey calendars.  Lisnagarvey is located close to the two Northern Irish airports, less than 30 minutes from each, new hotel developments and the exciting cities of Lisburn and Belfast are both very close making it an ideal venue for the tournament and sightseeing for the friends, families, and players.

As well as the normal participants, England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales it is anticipated that there will be a numbers of other international teams travelling to participate int the Home Nations 'Plus' others tournamnent.  Austria have already expressed a serious interset in taking part and there is now genuine interest from France and the USA making this a truly international event for the 2010 hockey calendar

With the superb facilities available at Lisnagarvey it is expected that this will be an awesome event for players and spectators alike.
